SuperShrink®
Polyolefin
also known as: supershrink polyolefin, SSPX, SSP40, SSP55, SSPY, puncture-resistant, shrink film, shrink wrap, polyolefin film rolls, polyolefin overwrap, high speed polyolefin.
Traco experts work with you to determine which polyolefin is right for your application, with a sample roll to test on semi-automatic or high speed equipment. Polyolefins are FDA compliant for direct-food contact.
SSPX: General purpose, shrinks to 45%. Often seen on box games and software.
SSP40: Cross linked, excellent hot and cold slip properties, high shrink to 75%, soft shrink will not crush or distort flexible products like calendars, filters, textiles, bakery or small paper products.
SSP55: Cross linked, multi-layered film with wide sealing range, excellent hot and cold slip properties, up to 60% shrink.
SSPY: High speed/low temp, shrinks to 65%. High yield, great for demanding end use and products with difficult shapes. Handles deep freezes and radical temperature changes. Runs well even on challenging equipment.
Options: Cross linked, multilayered, low-energy, high shrink, low temp, hot slip; single wound or center folded; gauges: 45, 50, 60, 75, 100, 125, 150; 5" to 44" widths.
